THE FIRST 100 NAMES ON THE WALL:

* although there are many names in the old Canadian
Boxing Hall of Fame, and many names scattered about
in Provincial, Municipal and other walls or halls of fame
this will be a listing of 100 names determined by the
general consensus of folks connected to or involved in
any aspect of professional boxing in Canada.

Some of the obvious names that will appear on the wall of 100
include the likes of:
George Dixon, George Chuvalo, Jackie Callura, Jimmmy McLarnin,
Jack Delaney, Johnny Coulon, Lou Brouillard, Sam Langford,
Tommy Burns and Yvon Durelle, but there will be many others.

* Over the passages of time since before the 1900's  boxing
in Canada has had many historical moments, interesting
characters and exciting events.  Canada has also produced
it's share of world champions, Commenwealth/British Empire
champions and many great Canadian champions and other
competitors.  But, the sport has also produced many fine
builders over the decades.

* This site will attempt to illustrate with photos and
narrative at least 100 names by December 31, 2013.
